Sami was folding laundry when she heard her Uncle Bo’s voice in the living room. She was curious as to what he was doing there especially given how he felt about EJ. She left the laundry and headed to the living room. “Uncle Bo? What are you doing here?”

Bo looked over at her and nodded, “Oh hey there Sami. I have a bit of news that I had to share and I didn’t want to do it over the phone.”

“Now you are scaring me. What is it?”

He motioned them both to sit on the couch, “You may want to sit down.” EJ and Sami both looked at each other in confusion but sat down anyway. EJ reached over and took Sami by the hand. Her hand was cold like it always became when she was nervous.

EJ spoke up, “Go on Bo. What is so important that you came all the way over here?”

Bo took a seat, cleared his throat, and began to speak, “Well we just had an interesting visitor at the station.”

“Who?”, Sami interrupted.

“Your ex mother in law”Sami rolled her eyes, “God what did Kate do now?” Bo grinned, “Well she wasn’t too happy when I wouldn’t let her visit with Lucas. In fact, she was so angry that she started rambling and saying all sorts of things.”

EJ and Sami’s ears perked up as they both were well aware of what Kate was capable of when push came to shove. “Well don’t keep us waiting Bo”, said EJ

Bo rubbed his chin and thought about how he was going to break this news to them. “Well she started saying that she wanted to give Lucas a piece of her mind, blah blah blah. Here’s where it gets interesting…”

They both leaned forward and listened intently at what Bo was saying, “And?”, they both said in unison.

“And Kate started saying that she gave Ali to Lucas.”

They looked at each other confused. Sami spoke first, “What did she mean by that?”

“I’m getting there. I asked the same thing. Then she revealed that she changed the paternity test.”

They were both shocked. EJ’s jaw dropped, “Wha…what? Di…did you say she changed the paternity test?”

“That’s what I said”

Sami shook her head, “I don’t understand. Changed the paternity how?”

“She changed the test to make it look like Lucas was Ali’s father. But it was a lie. So that means…”

EJ was sitting there in disbelief, “I’m Ali’s father.”

Sami looked first at EJ and then to her uncle, “Oh my god! How could she do that?” EJ sat there and kept repeating, “I’m Ali’s father.”

“She’s going to pay for this!” Sami was irate. She was thrilled to learn that EJ was the father of both of the twins but her anger at what Kate had done threatened to overtake her.

“Whoa Sami. Take it easy okay. I didn’t tell you this to start a war you know. I just thought you should know.”

She escorted her uncle to the door. She leaned against the doorframe,”Thanks for telling me uncle Bo. I will talk to you later. EJ and I have some things to discuss.”

Bo left as quickly as he came. Sami went back over to the couch and tried to snap EJ out of his shock, “EJ?”

His eyes cleared and he looked at her and smiled with the biggest grin she’d ever seen, “Ali is mine” She took his face in her hands ,”Yes, honey, the twins are ours”

“I’m so happy. I just want to go wake them both up and hug them”, he said as he started to get up and head for the nursery. Sami held him back, “Ah not so fast. You can’t wake them now or they’ll never sleep tonight. Besides,” She rubbed his arm, “I have something more fun in mind”
