She trembled as she pulled him from the living room. She had waited so long for this moment between them. After everything they had been through she was never more ready to allow herself to fully open her heart to him. No regrets just love.

 She saw the confusion and fear dance through his eyes as well as lust and desire, “Samantha….”. She put her finger to his lips to silence him and nodded, “No words….please EJ…just make love to me.” She walked over to the bed seductively. The room awash with the glow of candlelight. It made her hair gleam and shine golden. It took EJ’s breath away. His heart overflowed with love for her. He touched a few golden strands and allowed them to slide through his fingers, “You are so beautiful Samantha”. He moved his hand slowly down her neck and pulled her close. He closed his eyes and whispered, “Samantha”. He pulled her into a kiss.

She felt his lips upon hers. The softness, the gentleness. She released all of her pent up feelings. She allowed her love for him to freely flow through the kiss. The gentleness turned to fervent desire as they melted into each other’s embrace. EJ pulled at her clothes desperate to feel her skin against his. They fell into the bed as they each pulled at the other’s clothing.  EJ explored every inch of her, trailing her skin with kisses until he built her into such a frenzied desire she couldn’t stand any separation between them.

They made love for what seemed like hours. Sami had never experienced anything like this before in her life. She finally knew what it meant to be fully loved for who she was not for who someone wanted her to be. It was the most amazing feeling. She laid next to him and he gently traced her arm with his fingertips, “Penny for your thoughts”, he said as he pulled her hand close and kissed it.

A single tear slid down her cheek, he wiped it away, “darling what’s wrong?”. She smiled at him and cradled his face in her hands, “Nothing is wrong. I’m just happy.” He looked at her with such love, “That’s all I’ve ever wanted”. He kissed her forehead, “I love you Samantha”. She laid her head on his chest, “I finally feel free.” She felt his breathing slow and she thought he fell asleep. She whispered softly, “I love you too EJ”. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. EJ felt a tear burn hot down his cheek. He finally knew that she had forgiven him for everything and that meant everything to him.

He drifted off to sleep as he cradled her in his arms.
